Everyday Birth Magazine’s mission is to expand representation in pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and beyond while providing high-quality education and storytelling that benefits all parents and people. This year, we are pleased to announce our first photography contest, rewarding and showcasing the work of talented photographers who have documented pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

Our panel of judges, which may include our magazine's editors, photographers, artists, and select reproductive health workers, will be assessing images on the following criteria:

We encourage photographers from underrepresented communities to enter — we hope to have many folks across the intersections of gender identity, assigned sex, race, class, sexuality, faith, disability, physical appearance + more represented both behind and ahead of the lens! This contest is open for all!
